CloneCD is the perfect tool to make backup copies of your music and data CDs, regardless of copy protection. CloneCD's award-winning user interface allows you to copy almost any CD in just a few mouse clicks.
Since the release of 5.0, CloneCD is not only able to copy CDs but also all DVD formats, such as DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R Dual Layer and DVD-RAM. The movies are copied 1:1 and therefore not modified (compressed). Note that to copy movie DVDs you also require AnyDVD.

A must have tool from Merijn for cleaning browser hijackers. This tool should only be used by professionals.
Download ADS Spy from Merijn.org
A small utility to view ADS streams on Windows 2000/XP systems with NTFS. ADS (Alternate Data Stream) is a technique used to store meta-info on files, which unfortunately is currently being used by the more aggressive browser hijackers. Use with caution, this tool is very powerful.
Download Trend Micros CWShredder
CWShredder removes these browser hijackers. CoolWebSearch installs dozens of bookmarks–mostly to porn Web sites–on your desktop, changes your home page without asking, and continually changes it back if you attempt to correct it. Furthermore, it significantly slows down the performance of your PC, and introduces modifications which cause Microsoft Windows™ to freeze, crash or randomly reboot.
Download RealVNC's VNC
VNC stands for Virtual Network Computing. It is remote control software which allows you to view and interact with one computer (the "server") using a simple program (the "viewer") on another computer anywhere on the Internet. The two computers don't even have to be the same type, so for example you can use VNC to view an office Linux machine on your Windows PC at home. VNC is freely and publicly available and is in widespread active use by millions throughout the industry, academia and private sector.

DVD Decrypter is a free tool which enables you decrypt and copy a DVD to your PC's hard disk. From there you can choose to watch them with the likes of PowerDVD and WinDVD or you can re-encode them to MPEG1 (VCD) or DivX. Advanced functionality can be found in the context menus. The author of this software has been "asked" to discontinue it.
Download DVD Shrink
DVD Shrink is freeware used to backup DVD discs. You can use this to record a backup copy of any DVD video disc, no matter the size, and fit it on a single layer DVD. Or you may use DVD Shrink to save an image file to your hard drive and record it with any DVD burning software of your choice. The author of this software has been "asked" to discontinue it.
Download DVD-Rebuilder Free Edition Or Visit Jdobbs Softworks Website
DVD Rebuilder is a free tool from Jdobbs Softworks that allows to shrink a DVD movie into a single DVDR disc, using CCE, CCE Basic, or QuEnc as an external encoder. This is a great replacement (and better tool) for DVD Shrink. Jdobbs offers a Pro version on their website.
Purchase & Download DVD95 Copy
Copy any DVD to a regular DVD recordable (DVD±R(W)(DL)) with just 1 click within 30 mins while keeping all of the original DVD features like menus, different audio streams and subtitles. Data DVDs can be copied as well. This software picks up where DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter left off, however it is not freeware.
